Originally built for Itäharju congregation in 1934 and designed by Albert Richardtson, the building is a good example of the era of functional architecture. From the very beginning the building has housed many different kind of activities for the congregation from baby care to school classes and clubs for both the young and adults.
However, despite the opposition from the local community, in the 1980's the building was sold to the city of Turku and for the next 30 years it was known as an A-clinic, offering rehabilitation services and expert help to reduce substance abuse prevention.
From 2012 Inn 22 has offered accommodation services in the building. We are trying to preserve as much of the old environment as possible, but make ongoing improvements in the building to modernize and to make the stay more comfortable. We wish you welcome!
